Cancellations,
Delays and
Closings

In case of
extreme weather or other emergency reasons, school closing notices
will be broadcast over WARU FM 101.9. If the Peru Community Schools
close because of weather conditions, Saint Charles Borromeo School
will be closed also. Please do no call the rectory.
In case of severe weather during the day, listen to the radio for
early dismissal instructions.
Severe weather conditions may be caused by fog, snow,
or ice. In case of inclement weather, please listen to the
radio for possible late arrival information. In the event of a
two hour delay, Preschool and Early Childhood will meet from 9:30
a.m. to 11:30 a.m. If it is announced that kindergarten does
not come, that is for Peru Community Schools only. Since we
have all day kindergarten, those students come at the same time as
grades 1-6. In case of early dismissal, Saint Charles Borromeo
School will follow your written emergency instructions for your
children. Bus transportation will be provided for early
dismissal for children who ride the Peru Community Schools' buses.
While Saint Charles Borromeo School will continue to
follow Peru Community Schools for cancellations and delays, we will
not necessarily follow their plan for the make-up of missed days.
The principal will announce the schedule for make-up days. |
